Structure of Auto Control Arms

1. Stabilizer bar link

During the suspension installation, one end of the stabilizer bar link is connected with the lateral stabilizer bar through the rubber bushing, and the other end is connected with the control arm or bucket shock absorber through the rubber bushing or ball hinge. The lateral stabilizer bar link is used symmetrically in the home selection, which can improve the operation stability.

2. Tie rod

When the suspension is installed, the rubber bushing at one end of the tie rod is connected with the frame or body, and the rubber bushing at the other end is connected with the wheel hub. This kind of control arm is mostly used in multi link suspension and tie rod of steering system, which mainly bears lateral load and guides wheel movement.

3. Longitudinal link

The longitudinal link is mostly used for drag suspension to transfer traction and braking force.

4. Single control arm

This kind of vehicle control arm is mostly used in multi link suspension, and two single control arms can transfer the lateral and longitudinal loads from the wheels.

5. Fork (V) arm

This kind of vehicle control arm is mostly used in the upper and lower arms of double wishbone independent suspension and the lower arm of McPherson suspension. The fork structure of the arm body mainly transfers the transverse load.

6. Triangular arm

This kind of vehicle control arm is mostly used in the lower arm of the front suspension McPherson suspension, which is used to transfer the transverse and longitudinal load and control the relative movement of the wheel and the body.
